Jan Grüneberg

My name is Jan, 42 years young and I have been passionate about running, especially the longer distances, for over 21 years.

I live with my wife and a 14-year-old daughter in beautiful Central Hesse, near the university town of Marburg and have the low mountain range and thus some very beautiful trails right on my doorstep. At the same time, however, I also enjoy running on the bike paths around my hometown – right on the river Lahn.

Sports have always been a part of me, whether I was a cyclist, skier, triathlete, mountain climber or ultra runner.

Having always had problems with nutrition and low energy levels, I came to Tailwind and found exactly what I hadn’t found for years.

My main races this year are the 6-hour run in Mörfelden, the TorTour de Ruhr, maybe a first time in a 24-hour race and finally the Frankfurt marathon in October. In between I am starting smaller local running events.

I am very happy to represent Tailwind as Trailblazer since this year and look forward to a great season and a lively exchange.
