● Identity and contact data: name, address, e-mail address, phone number;
● Order data: products ordered, order history, payment data (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us);
● Account data, if you create a customer account;
● Communications: messages you send us by e-mail, contact form or social media;
● Marketing preferences, if you have signed up for our newsletter;
● Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, browsing behaviour on the site (via cookies, see section 7).
● Contract performance: processing, shipping and handling your order, including customer service and returns (legal basis: performance of a contract);
● Legal obligation: maintaining our financial records (legal basis: legal obligation);
● Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, securing our website, and improving our service based on anonymised/aggregated statistics (legal basis: legitimate interest);
● Marketing: sending newsletters and offers, only where you have given consent (legal basis: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link).
We never sell your data to third parties. To provide our service, we engage the following processors, who act solely on our instructions and under a data processing agreement:
● Shopify (e-commerce platform and hosting) — processes order, customer and payment data on our behalf so the store can function;
● Sendy (shipping software) — shares name, address and place of residence with the carrier selected by Sendy (including PostNL, DHL, DPD) to deliver your order;
● Shopify Payments and Mollie (payment providers) — process your payment data to complete the payment;
● Klaviyo (e-mail marketing tool) — if you have subscribed to our newsletter;
● e-boekhouden.nl — processes invoicing data for our bookkeeping;
● WebwinkelKeur (review platform) — if you leave a review, we share your name and e-mail address to link the review to your order;
● Google Analytics — collects anonymised statistics on website usage;
● Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — if you have consented to marketing cookies, these providers receive limited technical data (such as IP address and device ID) to display our ads and measure their effectiveness.
We may also be required to share data under a legal obligation, for example in the context of a tax or criminal investigation.
Some of our processors (such as Shopify, Google and Meta) may process data on servers outside the EEA, including in Canada and the United States. In those cases, we ensure an appropriate safeguard applies, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or, for US-based providers, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
● Customer account and order data: for as long as you remain a customer, until you request deletion;
● Invoicing data: 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention obligation (Dutch law);
● Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe;
● Analytics data: automatically anonymised or deleted after 14 months at the latest.
Our website uses cookies. On your first visit, a cookie banner asks for your consent to non-essential cookies; you can change your preferences at any time.
● Necessary cookies: required for the store and shopping cart to function (no consent required);
● Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): to understand how visitors use the website;

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). If you live in Germany, Austria or another EU country, you may also contact your own national supervisory authority.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and restricted access to personal data.
